WIRING HARNESS ESQUIRE Tele The ESQUIRE prewired kit corresponds to the circuit with the three capacitors from 1950. This circuit was designed by Leo Fender so that the sound in pos. 1 resembles an electric bass (two .05 MFD capacitors in series), Pos. 2 is the usual tone control with a cap as with a standard Tele, and in pos. 3 the pickup is switched through directly without a tone control.
